Help reunite my fur-family

Help reunite Bec with her fur babies! 

I recently accepted a job in DC, that is a dream job working for DC zoo helping some amazing endangered species. However, it meant I needed to scout ahead to find a place, while my cats stayed in Australia with my family. DC is proving to be a little more expensive and a lot more lonely than I originally thought, and I'm wanting to fly my cats over to DC, to reunite my little fur-family, sooner rather than later.

Last year my cat Anya had a very unexpected vet trip due to a congenital respiratory problem which ended up costing over $6000 in vet bills. I did not hesitate to pay because Anya is my fur-child, but it resulted in all of my savings to fly my cats to DC with me disappearing.

I'm storing all of my spare pennies away, much like a squirrel with acorns, to save up again for the flights for my cats, but am reaching out for any help anyone can afford.  My cats are my little companions that make my house a home, and would bring a little bit of Australia to DC and help with my homesickness. Any donation of any size will help me get my kitties home (to me) sooner, and I would be beyond (BEYOND) grateful.

In total, the flights are just over $5000, and any donation will go directly to helping cover their flights. I know it might all sound a little crazy-cat-lady, but I've worked so hard to get to this point in my research career and it means so much to me to be helping endangered animals. I just want to be able to do this with my little fur-family.
