Help Replace Our Furnace

The Senior Citizens Center in Marsing, Idaho is a 501c3 non-profit that provides a variety of activities for Senior Citizens including daily in-house meals, meals-on-wheels, weekly activities, monthly foot clinics, community resources, transportation to and from medical appointments, eye appointments, dialysis appointments, shopping, etc. We also coordinate programs with the schools for mentoring opportunities that pair students with seniors.

Like most senior centers across the country, Marsing struggles to maintain our aging building and support the operations of the center, so our doors remain open. Our biggest concern right now is our furnace. It is from the 1960's and not functioning at this point. It is in desperate need of replacement, but we do not have the funds to do this on our own. We are asking for your help so we are able to remain open and continue to offer a much needed service to the seniors in our community.

If we were to close our doors, it would have a serious impact on the seniors in our community. Many depend on daily meals, both in-house and delivered … nutritionally, emotionally, and mentally. To many of our seniors the Center is their only contact with the outside world.
