Help Renee Banaay Beat Breast Cancer

Hello friends, family and colleagues. Our good friend Renee Benaay was recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and needs our help.
I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Renee for over 20 years. She has always been a source of happiness and positivity, who made everyone around her feel welcomed and special. Her commitment to work and the team was second only to her commitment to raising and providing for her son, Ronald.
Many of you may be unaware that Renee has faced significant life challenges. She is a single Mother raising her son with little support from her ex-husband. Her immediate family is all back in the Philippines and she struggled to make ends meet after she lost her job.
But no matter how difficult her life was, Renee was always an amazing person who was kind and made time for everyone. For example, for over 10 years Renee has been instrumental in helping the Ron Belcot annual fund-raiser raise money towards having life-saving defibrillators in community sporting venues.
Now it’s time for us to help Renee as she faces the biggest struggle of all, fighting stage 4 cancer. Renee started to feel discomfort in October but ignored the signs because she feared losing her income she needed to provide for her family. By April, the pain had become unbearable, and she found out she had cancer.
It’s time for us to take action and give Renee the support and care that she deserves. I have set up this Go Fund Me page to help raise funds for her medical and life expenses during her next year of treatment and recovery. The goal is to raise as much money as possible, so Renee and her son Ronald don’t have to worry about how to pay rent or put food on the table - and can focus on beating this awful disease.
The Croce family has made a five-thousand-dollar donation, and call upon all of you - our friends, family and colleagues - to open up your hearts and wallets to help Renee and Ronald through this dark and difficult time.
