Help Rebuild Our Sunken Home

After our boat was burglared and sunk we thought we could get back on the track by ourselves, but we are still struggling with it. So we made the step to set up this campaign. Any help, however small, will bring your support to us and eventually add up.
Our story
Michal has been living on his boat for 4 years in London. He bought it as a bare shell and built it himself into a cozy home. It was a long process of planning, gathering creative ideas, learning and hard work. And finally reaching completion. I came into his life and we decided to move to Bath and live together.
Shortly after arriving to Bath we went for a hiking holiday in my home country Slovakia. When he came back he found our home sunk.

Thankfully, with help of other boaters they managed to refloat the boat. That's when he realized it had been also burglared. All our valuables were gone, including his tools which he uses for work to make a living, personal belongings and essential equipment of the home (even cutlery). Everything else was damaged by water, including furniture, bedding, clothes, books, our documents, etc. We found there is no damage to the shell and no leaks, which makes us think it was sunk intentionally.
We managed to clear out the boat of anything that was damaged, dry it out, clean it and get rid of the smell. Now it is ready to be rebuilt, but we are a bit stuck financially because we have no insurance cover for damage. Because it's an old GRP boat, all the insurance companies we contacted refused to give it full cover, even though it was fully refurbished home we actually live in. We need to buy lots of materials, new tools and equipment for the boat to make it into home again.
Being in a new area makes it all more difficult as we are far from our friends and families and both currently looking for jobs. We sleep in a tent or inside the boat when the weather gets too bad, without basic amenities, and frankly are tired of it and can feel the winter aproaching. We are determined not to give up and ready to work through this challenge and would greatly appreciate any help with the fundraising.
