Help Ray Get Top Surgery

Hi!

My name is Ray. I am fundraising to raise money for my top surgery. Being disabled, chronically ill and unable to work I've had to come to my community to ask for help.

Background

Going to get a little personal for a moment here. I've had trouble personally with my breasts (chest) since they started developing, I had been binding for years as a teenager before I even knew what it was and how to do it safely. Now they have gotten to a significant level of discomfort in the past few years gaining multiple cup sizes due to hormone imbalances out of my control. I also can't bind due to health reasons which makes some days really difficult on me mentally. Finding it hard to get dressed, shower & leave the house without it being everything I think about.

Why I need this surgery

The Australian government does not yet help with the cost at all of transitioning or gender reassignment surgeries for trans* folk. It would considerably improve my quality of life both physically and mentally to get top surgery. I also have back and neck pain which I hope will improve after the surgery. I would like to get this surgery ASAP. 

Your impact

Any contribution you make would go directly to my medical expenses. Every little bit counts and is greatly appreciated. I have been quoted $10-12,000 to cover all of the costs related to surgery, I currently don't work due to health so I'm hoping to crowdfund as much as I can. Any extra money raised will go to local LGBT+ youth in similar situations.
