Raising Money Towards A Beautiful Brothers funeral

Donation protected
Hi i'm Courtney, I am trying to raise funds towards the funeral I think my Brother deserves.

Brett was just an average loving  young man and my brother. Originally from Dukinfield, who was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 19 it came as a shock for Brett who didn't understand his illness and how serious it could be.
Only being 6 years old myself i didn't really understand it all either I was just watching my brother getting poorly, as I got older I would do whatever i could during my spare time to help out. Throughout the years he became very ill after falling into a diabetic coma his condition worsened  as he had multiple organ failure the family were told to say there goodbyes as he would not make it through the evening.
To our joy Brett made it through but after this his eye sight started to deteriorate until he became fully blind, then it  just became a constant in and out of hospital situation were he contracted MRSA which added to his misfortune after having multiple operations, Brett had half of his stomach removed along with separate operations on his kidneys and bowels along with an stent operation in his leg as to avoid removal of the limb. However he lost 2 toes from his left foot, over the years Brett became very depressed after such a tough time dealing with his illness.  Recently I saw a change in him as he was managing well at home and getting to grips with being blind and managing his diabetes, also the bonus of finding accommodation right next door to a shop and other local amenities making life just that little easier for him, all in great little area with some lovely local people and neighbours who couldn't help him enough he became a lot happier and started to make plans for the future like going on holiday as he'd never been abroad it seemed like a genuine miracle that my brother could survive all of this and still enjoy the rest of his life as he was still only 34 years old.
After defying the odds on many occasions in hospitals sadly he passed away on Sunday the 7th of April 2019, after a fire in his property the cause is yet unknown and the police and fire service are investigating.

I loved my Brett so much he meant the world to me, i'd give anything to change the tragedy he was in, I'll  miss him more than he could of ever imagined I feel lost without him and the one last thing I would like to do is give him the send off he deserves as I am not financially well of I am asking for a little help

I am also completing this walk to raise awareness of diabetes and how it can effect lives.

I am asking for sponsors to donate as we will be completing a fundraising walk from Manchester to south-port on the 19th April 2019.
I would like invite anyone who would like to join the walk to message me via email ; [email redacted]
as anyone is welcome and would be really appreciated.
Thank you.

South-port is some where I've chosen because its somewhere we shared happy memories as a small girl and is the only thing i remember of him being well so i thought if i can just do this one little last thing for him just to give something back, and a big thank you for everything he did for me during my time growing up maybe i can make him proud as he had a lot to do with bringing me up.

any donations welcome and would be greatly appreciated all donations shall be managed by myself, any and all donations will go towards his funeral service.

I've also set other fund raising pages on Facebook  so see if it will get me any closer to my target, although any exspences left over will be given to a chosen diabetes charity.
