Housing for Quinn and Conley!

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Gabriel -- I'm writing this campaign on behalf of two friends, Quinn (left in the photo) and Conley (right).

On the night of July 10th, 2018, two landlords kicked Conley out of their house on violent terms. The landlords not only failed to provide 30 days' notice -- a requirement in our state for any lawful eviction -- they were screaming verbal abuse, physically violent, and started a fire to burn many of both Quinn and Conley's possessions.

The landlords are Quinn's parents, who had been charging Conley to live in their home while they were away for two years.

Conley has been on the streets and couchsurfing for the past month and a half, while Quinn is still trapped in an abusive home.

This is a common story among many transgender youth who are subject to abuse and homelessness. By helping Quinn and Conley, two young trans adults struggling to meet their basic needs, we can change that narrative one story at a time.

The state of Massachusetts is in the midst of a housing crisis. Our most vulnerable populations are caught in the crossfires of the struggle to create lasting, affordable housing where we live. That means forcing disabled and marginalized people to contend with long waitlists for transitional programs, and endure harsh outdoor conditions in the what feels like an endless, miserable limbo.

The $2,000 raised in this campaign will firstly go toward a deposit on an apartment for Quinn and Conley. Any additional money raised will go toward transportation, groceries, toiletries, and other basic living needs. Every little bit helps!

Both Quinn and Conley have steady income, and can afford rent. At this time, they just need the support to get into a good home and start a new life. Having known them for as long as I have, I know they are good people capable of so much if given the chance to succeed.

Thank you for reading and donating if you are able to! It means the world to me, and to both of them.

If you have questions, know of anyone in the greater Boston area seeking roommates, or are an attorney who can help Quinn and Conley press charges for illegal eviction and destruction of personal property, please contact me at [email redacted] .

Thank you again for reading!
