Peter, Emily, and their little one Charlie have been through a journey! He finally obtained his green card along with a social security number which will allow him to work, drive, and obtain health insurance in the USA. He is in the process of getting the health insurance but there's a waiting process before it starts. Unfortunately, he needs his health insurance NOW!
Peter suffered from an injury about a month ago while playing basketball. He's been walking with crutches, sometimes in a wheelchair, just to get around. He's had many sleepless nights because of the pain in his leg. He's tried everything that doesn't require health insurance with no to little effect. A tear of some kind is highly suspected. Because he doesn't know what the diagnosis of his injury is he doesn't know how to get treatment. And because he has no health insurance right now he can't go to the doctor to receive a complete diagnosis and get treatment.
It's heart breaking that we live in a country where Medical Care is so expensive and hard to obtain. It should not be like this! Money has become more of a priority then keeping people alive and well.
Can we as Brother and Sisters in Christ step up, come together, and help out our fellow brother who is suffering with this debilitating pain ?
I think we can!

Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
The money will help pay for Peter to get an MRI and/or X-Rays to determine what's going on along with any additional medical expenses that add up along the way.
