My sister (Denyse Karn)'s partner, Peter, is fighting Leukemia.
Peter cannot work for at least one year and Denyse is his primary caretaker until he is cured.
Peter has 15 months to undergo chemotherapy, stabilize in remission, find a bone marrow/stem cell match and undergo a bone marrow/stem cell transplant at Princess Margaret Hospital. Peter cannot work and as a self-employed artist, Denyse will need to be by his side fighting this every day.
They need our financial support. Drug costs and $30 per day for parking while Peter undergoes daily chemotherapy and weekly blood transfusions are examples of the extra expenses, as well as basic rent and food costs they need immediate help with.
