Help pay for sweet Wally’s back surgery

My dog Wally has been diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease and needs back surgery or he will become paralyzed within the next 24-48 hours. This can happen when a disc herniates or ruptures and creates compression on the spinal cord. The prognosis is very good for him if he has surgery right away but it costs $10,000.
I know there was a gofundme a few months ago for me when my laptop was stolen, and I hate to do this again. I hated to ask for help then. I hate to ask for help now. But I’m still finishing my journalism degree and don’t have the resources I would like to have at this time and our pet insurance isn’t covering this.
Wally is my kiddo and I and his older brother Charlie love him very much. The other option is putting him down. He’s only 10 which is not that old in Dachshund-years I can’t bear the thought of euthanizing an otherwise happy and healthy dog.
I have come up with enough credit to get started with his care, but still really need help. Any amount you could afford to help with would make all the difference to our little family.
