Help pay for Lola’s IMT Treatment

Lola is a happy, energetic, sweet rat terrier mix who loves absolutely everyone. She’s been in my life since I was 15 and she was 3 months old, and she is now 7. I thought she was a perfectly healthy dog. Until we started noticing bruising all over her body, knowing well she’d not been subjected to any trauma. We rushed her to the Indy Emergency Vet Hospital at 10:00 pm, where they ran tests and found out she has Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia (IMT), a disease which has many causes which we still aren’t sure of. It can be as serious as Cancer or simply a reaction to medication/vaccinations. Regardless, the initial visit, testing, and hospital stay is set to cost about $3500. Marissa and I would do anything to keep this pup we love like a child alive and thriving, but we simply don’t have that kind of money on hand. This is all very new and I will keep updating you all, but this is scary. Lola has been my best pal through some of the hardest moments in my life and we’ve grown up together. I’ve even been seriously considering registering her as my emotional support dog because she is truly able to help me through severe panic attacks and calm my generalized anxiety. It would mean so much if you could contribute any amount to help us through this difficult and stressful time.
