Help pay debts from Liz’s Lymphoma battle

This gofundme is being set up on behalf on Elizabeth Ott and her husband, Brian Ott. In October of 2017, my twin sister Liz was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. It was a challenging road, including many hospital stays and an intensely rare and painful reaction to her chemo regimen. She had 12 rounds of ABVD chemo, multiple procedures, and hospital stays over the course of 7 months. Throughout most of 2018, Liz was too sick to work. Luckily, in June of 2018, she received an all clear PET scan diagnosis!! She began working again in August of 2018, but only at very minimal part-time hours, as her body and immune system recover from chemo. Recovery has taken time, building her immune system, muscles and energy back up. 


At this time, Liz and her husband, Brian, still have lingering debts from her season of battling cancer and not working, from bills and other life circumstances. She also has an upcoming PET scan and a recent CT scan that adds up to almost $2,000 out-of-pocket alone. Her recent CT scan showed abnormal swelling in her lymph nodes, so a secondary PET is scheduled. We are asking friends and family to come together, to help relieve the burden of these debts and help them move into a time of reprieve, without financial stress hanging over their heads - enabling them to focus on keeping Liz healthy, happy, and supported. They are also in need of a new water heater, and we’d love to just get that taken care of. 


My hope is that all debts can be taken care of and that necessary appointments can be attended stress-free. We are hoping and praying for good results, and for a good year for Brian and Liz. Your support is so greatly appreciated at this time.
