Help our Mom have a Strong Heart

Hello, we are Paula and Omaris. We are doing this for our mom who needs URGENT help for her heart. On March 16 of 2017, she received an open heart surgery. Her heart surgery was performed as an mandatory intervention in order to replace the mitral valve. The surgery was successful, but unfortunately, this past Friday, May 12, a routine echocardiogram was performed and a blood clot was found. She was rushed to intensive care (via the ER) where she, in her delicate state is receiving treatment for her blood clot.
Our parents live in the Dominican Republic. Our mother has suffered three aneurysms because of poor blood circulation and her defective mitral valve. Due to this most recent event where she was rushed to the ER and then put in the intensive care unit, the hospital and treatment bills are more than cumbersome. In order to save her life, our mom is currently undergoing several medical studies and is being administered a daily battery of medications. Her health insurance doesn’t cover anything anymore, and our resources are no longer sufficient.
Because of her surgery in March, our dad had to pay USD $10,000.00 immediately. In our country, The Dominican Republic, that is a FORTUNE. The minimum wage, for example, is approximately $ 130 per month.
We need the help of all those who want to contribute to the health of our mother. Our father is the best father in the world and he has done his best not to leave our mother helpless in this situation. Financially he has done the impossible, he has not been still, but we, Paula and Omaris, know that his possibilities have been exhausted.
Please help us to continue giving our mother the treatment so that her heart is strong.

Ayuda a nuestra mamá Cristina a tener un corazón fuerte
Hola, somos Paula y Omaris. Hacemos esto para nuestra mamá que necesita una ayuda URGENTE para su corazón. El pasado marzo 16 del presente año recibió una operación a corazón abierto. Esta operación fué diagnosticada por su cardióloga de manera obligatoria para reemplazar la válvula mitral. El pasado Viernes mayo 12, se le realizó un ecocardiograma de rutina y se le encontró un coágulo en la sangre. La salud de nuestra madre está delicada y en estos momentos se encuentra en cuidados intensivos.
Nuestra mamá vive en República Dominicana. Ella ya ha sufrido tres aneurismas por tener la válvula mitral deficiente. Ella debe ser tratada de emergencia, las cuentas ya van muy altas, tiene que ser sometida a varios estudios médicos, sin mencionar todas las medicinas diarias que deben ser administradas. El seguro médico ya no cubre absolutamente nada y nuestros recursos ya no son suficientes.
En la cirugía realizada en marzo, nuestro papá tuvo que pagar 10,000 dólares inmediatamente, aún teniendo seguro médico. En nuestro país, República Dominicana, eso es una FORTUNA. El salario mínimo, por ejemplo, es de 130 dólares al mes aproximadamente.
Necesitamos por favor, la ayuda de todos quienes quieran contribuir a la salud de nuestra madre. Nuestro papá, es el mejor padre del mundo y ha hecho todo lo posible para no dejar a nuestra madre desamparada en esta situación. Ha tratado hasta lo imposible, no ha estado quieto, pero nosotras, Paula y Omaris, sabemos que se le están agotando sus posibilidades.
Por favor, ayúdennos a poder continuar dándole el tratamiento a nuestra mamá para que su corazón sea fuerte.
