Help our MHWR Boys - Hans and Pierre (Fred/George)

Meet Hans and Pierre!  These sweet boys came to us from a shelter in NM and have melted our hearts with their size (small horses) and their sweet goofy personalities. 

These boys have had a tough recovery from their neuter surgeries last week and Hans developed quite a bad infection that caused some major internal bleeding and after two different vet opinions, it was determined that he needed emergency surgery yesterday and this was completed at the CSU Vet Hospital in Fort Collins. 

With the stress of Hans being away, Pierre developed some major symptoms today that were diagnosed as Colitis and was put on fluids and medicated and luckily able to go home this evening. 

Hans is staying another night and will need some bandage changes in the morning and should be able to go home tomorrow afternoon. 

HUGE SPECIAL THANKS to these boys' amazing foster parents Jennifer and Greg!!!  These volunteers have been along for every step of the way these last 48 hours and we can't thank them enough!
