Help Opie get to Wisconsin!

Underdog Pet Rescue in Madison, WI has been partnering with a rescue in China to transport dogs saved from the Chinese meat trade to be adopted in Wisconsin. Our last collaboration rescued 13 dogs and they have all been adopted to loving homes. We were hoping to save more dogs but the rescue in China has unfortunately run out of funds for transport. The approximate cost is $1,000 per dog to have them safely travel from China to Madison. This Go Fund Me is specifically set up to rescue Opie, a corgi-mix that I signed up to foster.  If we raise more than $1,000 we will try to add at least two more dogs to the transport that already have foster homes ready.   If we do not raise $1,000, all funds will be donated to Underdog Pet Rescue.


The dogs we saved previously from China have been the most amazing dogs we have ever met. Yogi was almost overlooked because of his injured leg and unique look.  The vet at Underdog Pet Rescue amputated his leg, and now he is more mobile than ever. He's the most amazing dog and I cringe to think what would have happened to him had we not transported him from the Chinese shelter.
