Help Nicholas' mom give him a life saving kidney.

As some of you know, my sweet, 21 year old nephew, Nick, out of the blue had complete Kidney Failure, (ESRD) in June of 2019. We are very excited to announce that his mom Agata is a match (THANK GOD) and that they are scheduled for a lifesaving transplant surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital, November 12th, 2019.
His mother, Agata, is a widow, as my brother Scott, unfortunately passed away from cancer at the age of 34. She is a hard working, single mother who is proud to be independently taking care of my nephew with no help until now. My nephew Nick is a college student at Palm Beach State University and was recently accepted into FAU. He had to put his classes on hold due to the exhausting 3 times a week dialysis schedule and low energy but plans to return after his transplant surgery.
With surgery scheduled for next week there just isn’t time to organize any type of normal fundraiser. The past weeks have required numerous medical appointments for both Nick and Agata as they both have gone through the many tests needed to clear them for the transplant procedure.
Agata needs to be rested and healthy for the best outcome, yet she continues to juggle her full-time work with medical appointments and hands-on caring for Nick. Nick just wants to be a normal guy, able to eat normal food and participate in normal activities. While this may not be completely possible, the gift of his mom’s kidney will give him a new lease on life.
The Hall family depends on Agata’s income to cover their living expenses, and they cannot afford the loss of that income as a result of the downtime this surgery requires.
Needless to say, the cost of Nick’s healthcare has been an ongoing expense for the family over the years and continues to claim a significant portion of their expendable income.
Agata will be missing months of work while she recovers and helps Nick recover. They need to focus on healing and not be worried about how they will manage their bills or living expenses. My goal is to give them a cushion to make it through the next few months.
