HELP NEEDED FOR SAM’S MEDICAL EXPENSES

First of all we want to thank everyone for their continued love, support and prayers for Sam. For those of you who don’t already know, Sam had to endure a major heart surgery this week at SVMH for an aortic valve replacement and triple bypass. Sam always putting others first, he didn’t want to disappoint his music fans and requested we only notify immediate family and close friends. His band will continue to play music events without him as scheduled. He is progressing well but did have some unexpected complications with a slight stroke and pain medication difficulties right after surgery. He will need close supervision, physical therapy and continued support to heal well and be back to doing what he loves best, playing music and helping mentor youth with his non-profit music school (Samz School) in Salinas. He misses everyone and of course sends his love! Sam and his wife and family need all the help during these tough times and donations are encouraged to help pay for medical expenses. All proceeds will help pay for Sam’s medical expenses. Due to pre-existing medical problems with his diabetes, losing sight and glaucoma, neuropathy pain and heart problems he only has Medicare coverage and no secondary insurance.
