Help needed for rescued pet
Otter Creek Fire Department of Terre Haute, Indiana working to help a citizen and pet in need.
On Friday, July 13, 2018 a home was destroyed by fire. During a search of the home firefighters found and rescued a dog, Peyton. The firefighter took the pet to the ambulance on scene and they immediately transported Peyton to a local animal hospital.
The dog is being kept over the weekend for observation and treatment.
The homeowner did not have insurance and is concerned with being able to afford the medical expense from Peyton's stay in the hospital.
Expenses for Peyton's treatment are expected to be approximately $500. We would like to raise additional funds to help the homeowner get back on his feet as his home and belongings were all lost in the fire.
Please help us help our neighbor in need and give what you can.
Funds are needed for this for Peyton are needed as soon as possible so he can go back to his owner and continue his recovery.
