If fighting cancer wasn’t hard enough the first time for my Mum, having to go through it a second time is just heart Breaking. Not only to her but to me Breeley and our amazing Luke.
In 2015 Joedy was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She beat that battle and in November 2017 was in remition with no signs of it left in her body. She was kicking goals, she was actively participating in boot camps and CrossFit with me at Perfit. She lost a lot of weight and regained her life.
Now in March 2019 it has cancer has reared its ugly head again only this time in her hip, arm bone, lower spine and liver.
Joedy has only just started an amazing job with Mercy Place Ballarat that she loves and gives her inspiration every day. She has never come home so proud of her job until now. As she has only just started so she doesn’t have the leave that she needs to be able to financially pay for her medical bills, car expenses to get her too and from her appointments as well as support her daughters education and upcoming debutante ball.
Joedy is being rushed into surgery on the 20/3/2019 to have her Right Hip Pinned and femur supported with a metal rod to her knee, as it could break any minute without this surgery. She is due to start chemotherapy in the next week as well and then move onto whole body radiation.
The cost associated with this alone are a lot, but she is also going to have to move in with her amazing partner Luke as she is going to need more care this time.
Anything you could spare to help Joedy, Luke and Breeley (Me the daughter) would not go to waste and would be greatly appreciated.
