Help my mom fight stomach cancer

Hi everyone,

I always love to help others anyway I can and it is very difficult for me to ask for help even when I need it.  But this time I have to ask for any help I can get and any amount is greatly
appreciated.

 My mom lives in Porto Alegre, Brazil and has been in the hospital for 26 days now. She has been very sick for a few months , she can not eat ,  lost a lot of weight and is loosing blood . After many failed tests , exams , canceled
appointments and wait on the public health system there she was diagnosed  with
stomach cancer.  
She is very weak and now will have to be
transferred  to a different hospital to try to
find the best treatment for her. She does not
have private insurance which in Brazil is
extremely expensive and unfortunately the
public  heath  system there is a disaster. It
 could  take several months for a treatment to even start.  We will have to look for alternatives and private doctors which are extremely
expensive in her condition. As many of my
friends know I am a single
mom and I live in the US alone with my 2
young children . I am taking time off  from
work this week and  relying on friends to
watch my  kids so that I can fly to Brazil and
be with my mom.  Many of you have been
messaging me asking how you can help and I keep saying that  I am fine. The truth is that  I am
not even tough I try to be strong for the kids
and my mom. I have to book last minute  plane tickets 
and  be there to help her. My family and I
appreciate any help we can get at this very
difficult time. Any little bit counts in this time of need.
