Mom has been moved to Hospice Care

My mom Mary Ann Shapiro was diagnosed with renal cell cancer in 2014.  The cancer has slowly progressed to stage 4 causing tumors to develop in her lungs and in her head.  She had the tumor in her head removed via craniotomy this past February.  She spent 2 months in ICU/PCU and then moved to a skilled nursing facility.  Where she has been rehabbing for the last 90 days.  She is just now learning how to walk again and she still has a long road of chemotherapy and radiation to fight the tumors in her lungs.  Medicare has paid for almost everything to date.  But she is being switched to Medicaid for her longterm care.  Mom raised us as a single parent working low income jobs to just make ends meet.  She has no life savings, no life insurance, no car, no house, and her apartment lease is up.  My wife and I are all she has left and we can't afford to cover the all her expenses.  So I am humbly asking her/our friends and complete strangers to help my mom live the life she deserves in the remaining time she has left with us.  She is only 58 years old.  I want her to see her grandchildren grow old.  Cancer sucks! All money raised will go to pay for ALF related expenses, outstanding medical bills, and final expenses when the time comes.  Mom wants to be cremated and buried with my brother who died from an overdose last year.   I feel horrible asking for help, but I don't know what else to do.  Thank you, Craig Shapiro
