Update: We amazingly raised more than triple our goal thanks to you guys, in such a short time! As we continue to raise money there is many more kids in need at my school that we are going to help out, for example lots of them don't have winter jackets so that's just one thing we plan on getting. Hello Everybody,
My name is Micah Hauger and I am a 11th grader at the Workshop School. I transferred from Lower Merion High School and the transition has been great - everything from the new culture to amazing opportunities to truly understanding how blessed I am.
Recently, my classmate who I have gotten to know quite well, was telling me about his past. It was a rough and sad story, and one of the things that stuck was when he told he had never gotten a Christmas present before.
I hope to make this Christmas special for him and another student at the school who is really in need as well. Every penny raised will go directly
to getting them everything from necessities to some great presents.
Hopefully we can raise this all before the holiday. I know we don't have much time but I believe it's possible.
It would mean a lot to me to be able to help my classmates out like this, and it would mean even more to them. This will create a memory they will never forget and I can't wait to see the smile on their faces.
It would be so cool if we could do this. It's a great way to spread the Christmas love! Again, I know there isn't much time left but I know we can do this. Spread the word, Merry Christmas!
