Nicholas Is Going Blind

Hi, my names Oscar and I want to talk about my little brother, Nicholas. He has always looked up to me and I am always there to help him, no matter what. He has never done anything bad to anyone inafact he aleays wants to help everyone with their problems and homework. This year recently he began to lose his sight, hearing, and motivation because of these reasons. The doctors do not know why any of this has happened. They have done blood tests, multiple types of MRI's, ctscans, spinal fluid tap and had multiple doctors, surgeons and therapists examine him. While at the hospital he was in the bathroom, fell backwards and fractured his skull. There is a crack and a bubble the size of an egg on the back of his head where he fell. He was released from the hospital and had to come back into the E.R. because the bump got worse and he was vomiting and having serious migranes. He had minor brain surgery recently and he i
Was in intensive care with a tube in his brain. He had major brain surgery the other day because he has too much fluid in his brain. And he is currently still in intensive care hooked up to a bunch of machines that wont allow him to move. He sits in the hospital bed all day not able to see so he cant watch tv or play with tablets or anything at all. On top of the head injuries and brain surgeries, they've also found viruses and other infections throughout his optical nerves and nasal cavities. He has retinitis in one eye now. My parents are unable to work because they have to be at the hospital day in and day out to make sure something doesnt happen to him and because they are extremely worried about him. The school is worried aswell and they want to see him do well, and he is now missing out on almost a month. Nicholas is a smart kid, and does great in school. All of his teachers and peers talk about how uplifting and positive he is. He loves to do taekwondo, play with his dog, enjoying time with his family, watching youtube videos and surprisingly doing his homework. With his vision and hearing loss he is no longer able to do anything he loves to do. He cant even go to school which is upsetting him because he wants to become a scientist when he grows up. He has always had a goal or a dream and he always pushes himself to achieve whatever it may be, but with his sight going terribly, his hearing and now his brain, he cannot accomplish his life dream. Please help me and my family get our little brother, son, friend, family better.
