Help Miles send his dog to become a service animal

Miles is a sweet 2 1/2 year old living with Autism. Miles is part of a family of six, he has 3 older sisters and mom stays home so he can receive therapy and dad is a Cal Fire firefighter. Miles  struggles everyday with living a normal life, he suffers with severe anxiety when out in public, he has trouble sleeping at night and communicating his needs. Miles is currently receiving 40 hours of ABA therapy along with occupational therapy, feeding therapy and early intervention services.  I started looking into a therapy dog for Miles  about a year ago only to discover the cost starts at 25k,  I figured there has to be another way to make this happen for my son! We were blessed to find a 10 month old standard poodle named Rocky who needed a new home and now I’m on a mission to get the training Rocky needs to help Miles with everyday life. I have found professional therapy  dog training thru Precision River K9 training  for $4k. This makes more financial sense for my family. I also looked into grants, it’s really discouraging when you find all the strings that are attached to funds and only so many are given out each year.  As a parent you want your children to have every advantage so they can live their best life, please help my little guy get his dog trained for the extra support he needs ❤️ Thank you in advance.  Kristen Day
