Help Mike and Robin rebuild!

Hurricane Harvey has devestated Southeast Texas. My parents' home in Lumberton - that they share with my 92 year old grandmother - flooded. Their home, vehicles, and possessions were all destroyed by the flood waters. My father works from home, and my mother runs a business from home as well.

Right before Hurricane Harvey struck Texas my parents purchased my Texas A&M University ring for $1050.  I told my dad today that I wanted to repay that $1000 to help. He told me to not to worry because my Aggie ring was something that the storm couldn't destroy or take from us. My parents' love and generousity despite loosing so much is inspiring. It is heartbreaking though because my parents have always been generous givers with church, family, and charity. They had finally reached the point in life where the kids were out of the house, college was paid for, and they could afford things for themself.

I was always a stubborn child, and I am certainly not going to listen now! I want to send money anyways. The house was built on a 3-foot slab and not in the floodplane, and my parents did not have flood insurance unfortunately. Other family members and friends wanted to help so I am setting up this page. Even if you cant send money, please just send them an email or message on FB to let them know that you are thinking of them. The emotional support from family and friends means even more than money.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the others that were hurt by the flooding. I know my family does not suffer alone. - Wade Jones
