Do you want to help the victims of the crisis in Yemen?
MedGlobal is your vehicle. MedGlobal volunteers risk their lives to heal and save people in crisis. The team is leaving to Yemen soon on it's third medical mission to the war-torn country.
More than 20 million Yemeni are in need of assistance and 4 million Yemeni children are malnourished. There is an epidemic of cholera and many other preventable infectious conditions due to lack of vaccination and disintegration of public healthcare systems.
Among them is 8 month old Fares, a child whom our team treated for malnutrition in the city of Al-Jawf; and Sabaa, a young girl who was affected by cholera.
The combined surgical/medical team the includes diverse doctors from the USA, UK, Morocco, Netherland and Turkey, traveling to treat and operate on patients in central Yemen in collaboration with local Yemeni NGOs.
In addition to performing surgeries on the victims of war, the team will provide direct medical assistance including life-saving medications, medical supplies, medical equipment, medications for chronic diseases and training for local health workers in northern, eastern and southern Yemen.
MedGlobal operates under the core principles of sustainability, local NGO partnerships and cultural sensitivity and on the humanitarian principles of neutrality and impartiality.
A child is a child, whether in Eden, Sanaa, Abyan, Hudaida, Taaz, Marib or Mokalla.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 for Yemen. The donations raised will help serve at least 2,000 patients through direct medical services and 20,000 patients through medications and medical supplies.
