HELP ME TO KEEP PLAYING ICE HOCKEY

Hi,
My name is Keesha Atkins and I live in Perth WA. I currently play Ice hockey as a goalie for the Adelaide Rush in the Australian Women's Ice Hockey League (AWIHL), and have to travel each time we play because there is no current Perth team.

In order for a Perth Team to to play in the AWIHL there will be exhibition games in Sydney in February 2018. Perth is trying to establish a new team called the Perth Inferno. This is a group of local Perth girls who are wanting to be able to play as a team in the AWIHL for the 2018-19 season. In order to do this they are required to play a series of exhibition games on the East Coast, of which they have already played 1 game against Melboune. The next 2 game series against Sydney will be crucial to take the best team available to them, as Sydney is the reigning Gold Medal team from 2016-17.

This is my 4th season playing AWIHL, starting with the Brisbane Goannas, where I played 3 seasons, and was awarded the Rookie of the year award in the AWIHL in the 2013-14 season. I have also been playing in the Australian U18 National Womens team for 4 years (since it's inception) taking the team to a Gold medal in the World Qualifications, and earning the MVP for the team during that tournement.
After a succesful World Qualifiers I was sought after by the head coach of Adelaide Rush to join them this season. Adelaide were the wooden spoon team from 2016-17 and did not win a game. In the first 4 games of this year they have already scored more goals than all of 2016-17 season, and I helped them win the first game in Adelaide Rush Ice Hockey Club history against the 2016-17 silver medal winning team from Brisbane. I hope to be able to take them through to the gold medal game in Melbourne at the finals in 2018.

As my fees for playing for Adelaide are around $4000 and this one sereis of exhibition games with Perth Inferno in Sydney is going to be another $600, I need help.
I have only just finished school in 2017 and trying to establish my own business as a Personal Trainer, it is very difficult to come up with these funds out of my own pocket, so I am looking to raise these funds through this Go Fund Me campaign.


I would really appreciate even the smallest donation from any body, as it is my dream to play Ice Hockey at an elite level for as long as I can.

As a Goalie coach, if I exceed the Campaign amount I will put the extra money towards goalie development programs here in Perth.
