Hi Friends,
For those who arent aware or dont know me,I am going on an adventure of a lifetime (for me!) at the beginning of February. I am going with a friend to Kenya,Africa !!! It is a trip that has been on my bucket list since I was a small child! It will be incredible! <3
As memorable of a holiday as it will be for me,I would like to use the opportunity to bring a little of Canada,and some smiles :D , with me to the children I will meet in Kenya.I would like to collect as many souvenir mini sticks (see picture below) as I can and take them with me to Africa,and to teach them some Canadian street hockey.<3
Here is where you come in. :)
I am asking for your help in collecting as many of the sticks as possible. Any and all donations will be hugely appreciated. <3 Please look around your house,and your friends and family's homes and gather up any that arent being used or arent a treasured memory. I personally guarantee they will go to a child that will value them and get great enjoyment from them. :D
The expense of taking these sticks will be considerable,and if you would like to contribute some financial assistance in some way to help me with the cost of shipping the sticks,I would gladly appreciate that too. :)
Please message me on FB ( I dont own a cell phone! :O) and I will contact you and we can arrange to meet so I can collect the sticks. I plan on promoting this as much as I can through social media,so please 'share' this post with your friends and family, and with any contacts or resource that you may think would help me with this goal!
