Help me send my son to band camp

Lux has an opportunity to attend a 3 day trip with school for band to Banff with his new school. Last year he lost some of the excitement he always had for school, so this year we have changed schools and he is getting back to his love for it. As a single income family we often have to say no to the extracurricular activities like this. I badly want to be able to send him on this experience but we don't have the funds to make it happen. The trip will end up costing around 500 including the money he would need to take for the 2 meals not provided. The reason I put the amount at $1000 is that he also needs a chromebook for this school. 
Lux is one of the most caring giving kids I've ever known and is so deserving of such a fun, unique experience. So if you are able to help us get him there I would be so very grateful.
