Help me raise money for MIND
Donation protected
One in four people are affected by Mental Health illnesses every year and there are hundreds of thousands of people who are still struggling. Mental health illnesses are still misunderstood and there is a lot of stigmatism surrounding mental health. Sometimes the pain that is experienced is not only felt by the person who has the mental illness but also the loved ones around them. It can often be difficult to understand and care for the ones which are suffering, and as an outsider you sometimes feel helpless and unable to say or do the right thing. This is an opportunity to raise some well needed money for the UK's leading mental health charity to provide the care and support to people who are battling these terrible illnesses.
As a personal achievement, a couple of years ago I experienced a severe injury when I snapped my femur and was unable to walk without crutches for 8 months and had a long recovery. There were points where the recovery was that slow I thought I'd never be able to run again, however after countless hours of Physiopherapy and hard work, I'm going to run the Bath Half Martathon (was supposed to be Bristol but fractured a couple of bones in my lower back weeks before) on the 4th March and raise some money for MIND, so get them hands in your pocket and donate, no amount is too little.
Cheers
