Help Mike make his Van/Bathroom more Accessible

Hello!
My name is Michael Dyer. For almost 20 years I served the northwestern corner of Ohio delicious food as Chef Michael. I spent 15 years at Maggie’s Family Restaurant before opening Dyer’s Family Dining. I loved making weddings and family events special for my clientele and threw myself wholeheartedly into my work until my declining health finally caught up with me and I was forced to give up the restaurant in 2014. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune illness known as peripheral neuropathy, as well as severe liver damage, stage 4 kidney disease, and COPD. As my illnesses have progressed, I have become completely wheelchair bound. To help with the difficulties caused by the damage to my kidneys, a device similar to a pacemaker was implanted in my lower back. I also have to be hooked up to oxygen 24 hours a day. I have been seeing many specialists from the University of Michigan who have all said there is no cure for any of my conditions and I will never be able to walk again. I now live in constant pain and even the most mundane tasks require an exhausting amount of effort. Despite almost losing the battle with my body three different times, I guess the Lord has decided it is not yet my time to go.
As you can imagine, I have many doctors appointments that my elderly mother, who I live with and am cared for by, has to take me to. I was blessed to find a motorized wheelchair that I could ride in so she would not have to push me around, but this chair of course could not fit into a normal vehicle. I was then fortunate to find a used van that was wheelchair-accessible. The van is in need of repairs, some of which are more involved than we initially realized. These repairs are absolutely needed to make the van safe to drive. I am also in need of a safe and sturdy ramp into our house. One of my doctors has all strongly advised a walk-in tub, as it would not only provide water jets for therapeutic use (as I am unable to do normal therapy), but would also be a much safer option for bathing than the shower I currently use.
The past five years have truly been an uphill battle. Trying to keep up with all of the many medications, doctor copays, and hospital stays leaves my mother and I with very little money to live on, let alone fix the van and/or make the needed accessibility repairs to our home. Throughout my life I have always tried to help people in need, but now I am in need of help from friends like you. Please, any little bit of help is greatly, greatly appreciated.
