Help me go to MHacks!

Hi. I'm Kevin, a current junior majoring in mathematics and computer science at Bowdoin College. I got into the hackathon scene starting in the Spring semester of 2017 largely in part due to CdT, a large tech and meme community with over 9000 members. Since my first hackathon I've come to really love the experience of meeting like-minded people and building fun projects surrounded by friends and mentors.

I got accepted to MHacks, an amazing hackathon in Michigan, about 2 weeks ago, which was something I've been looking forward to basically all summer, and I'm incredibly glad I was given this opportunity.

However, I realized that the cheapest cost of getting to MHacks from my college up in Brunswick, Maine would be roughly 300 dollars. When I talked to some organizers about this, they generously offered to give $150 in travel reimbursement. And while I'm extremely thankful for their generosity, money is still tight right now and with another $150, I'd be able to travel to MHacks this semester.

Seriously, though, I know this post is short, but going to MHacks would honestly make my year, and thanks to MHacks's generosity I'm already so close to going, I have to try. You guys are great and I feel bad having to ask, but it would absolutely mean the world to me if you could help. Thanks for reading!
