Help me become a drug counselor

After struggling with addiction for the better part of my life, after starting sobriety I came to the conclusion that I didn't want it to all be for nothing. My goal is to get my CDCA certificate (chemical dependency counseling). A k40 hour course that is 200 dollars, and the exam is 150. I want to be able to help other addicts like me and this is the first step in doing so. After I complete this I plan on enrolling at the university of Cincinnati for my Bachelors to build on to this license. Help me help others. Thank you!

Anything extra is going towards a laptop I'll need to do the coursework on! My ex was gracious enough to offer to sell me her extra MacBook. You guys are the best and I can't wait to make you all proud.
