Help me, and I'll pay it forward.

It has been a draining day - both monetary and emotional. And just when I was keeping my head above water...

Long story short, the car needed more than my bank account had. Marisa has helped out the best she could, but I'm still going to be short 'til payday on the 30th. I've got nothing to spend to see Julie on Friday (she's in town for her grandfather's memorial service), gas will be difficult to get me to the service AND to and from work this week. I've even cancelled my cataract surgery on Tuesday, as I can't swing the $100 co-pay, much less miss days of work. 

So...

I'm just hoping that a few friends can chip in a 2 or 3 bucks, help me out this week, and when I get paid on the 30th, I'll pay it forward to the most voted-for charity.

I know that there are people much worse off, and I'm hesitant to ask, but I'm stuck. I've tried a couple of online payday loan sites, but they don't do business in New York.
