Help Matt's Family Rebuild After Devastating Fire

My name is Siv, and myself and my work colleagues are reaching out to the community to help our friend Matt, after he was hit by tragedy right before Christmas.
Matt and his family's lives were turned upside down by a fire that started in a neighbouring house, which then tore through their own home.

Thankfully they escaped uninjured, but their family--his youngest only 12 years old--has lost everything, from food to clean clothes to family photos.
Matt is a great friend to us and a wonderful human being, always happy to help others and filling the office with the best (and worst) jokes and the best (and worst) Star Wars references.
Our hearts go out to him and his family, and though Christmas is a busy and expensive time of year we urge you to reach out and support them through this extremely difficult period with some much needed financial assistance.
The most pressing financial needs at the moment is stocking up on the basics, such as food, clothing, toiletries and other necessities and costs of living until they are back on their feet.
However you celebrate the holiday period, if you are able to spare anything for a family left homeless at a time of celebration and giving, it would be greatly needed and appreciated!
