Help Mario 'Tackle' Cancer

Firstly, I would like to sincerely thank you for dereading Mario's journey.
My beautiful Mario (30 years old) was diagnosed with cancer this past March (2017). After a long diagnosis process, Mario was officially diagnosed with malignant Epithelioid Angiomyolipoma. He has two large tumors: one on his liver (7cm x 6 cm) and one on the posterior wall of his stomach (17cm x 14cm). This cancer is an extremely rare cancer found in the body.
There is only one form of treatment that has been shown to help fight this cancer, known as Afinitor. Unfortunately, the research for this cancer is scarce due to the rarity of the disease.
The cost of Mario's treatment is between $5,900-$6,800/month depending on the dosage prescribed. This is out of pocket.
We decided to purchase the oral treatment as Mario was suffering from severe night sweats (nightly), constant fevers up to 104, and abdominal pain all caused by Mario's tumours.
With the help of friends and family, we have had no success in finding any funding for Mario's treatment due to the rarity of his cancer. We are currently fighting with his insurance company to pay for his treatment. Unfotunately, Mario's cancer is not "approved" by all of the funding and sponsorships that have been tirelessley researched as there is not enough information about his cancer.
Mario has been on his treatment for two months. He was sent for a CT scan 6 weeks into his treatment. We found out today that his tumors have shrunk by 25%. Now that we know his body responds positively to the Afinitor, the oncologist's long term solution is that Mario will be on these pills for the rest of his life. His night sweats, pain and fevers have also subsided since he started his treatment.
Now that we know Mario is responding to his treatment... we ask for help. Please help donate to Mario's treatment. Until we win our battle with the insurance company, it is up to us to pay for his treatment.
Fortuntely, Mario's oncologist will be doing a case study on him to help other doctors and patients in Mario's shoes in the future.
