Help Margot beat Lyme

For those of you that know Margot she has been diagnosed with Lyme Disease. What you might not know is how many agonizing months of strange, painful and misunderstood symptoms have led to this diagnosis.  Her symptoms have ranged from headaches,  severe numb and tingling legs, excruciating burning nerves, muscle atrophy, loss of muscle control, spinal pain, depression, inability to get out of bed and the list goes on.  Margot is a daughter, sister, wife, mom and friend; she lives in Bedford N.S with her wonderful husband and 2 amazing daughters and their life has been thrown into a tail spin.
In the last year Margot has tried many different approaches to get on top of this devastating,  disease including a cocktail of antibiotics,  trips to the States, hundreds of naturopathic treatments as well as stem cell therapy in Germany.  Each step has been met with complications, great cost and an increase in pain, symptoms and hopelessness.  Lyme is a very lonely disease as the medical support in Nova Scotia is minimal to non-existent.At this late stage, extreme measures must be taken to try and stop this crippling disease from progressing any further.  After great consideration and prayer the decision has been made that the next step is to go for treatment at a Lyme disease specialty clinic in Mexico.  Dr. Morales the founder of the clinic, speaks at conferences all over North America to explain that multi-faceted approaches are necessary to overcome late stage lyme disease.  Margot and her family have already spent well over $75,000 on treatments.  The cost of the 6 week program in Mexico will be an additional $40,000 and this treatment comes with no guarantee.  Margot and her husband Yves are scheduled to leave on April 23rd, just a little over a week away.
