Help Luke get back on his feet!

As many of you know almost a month ago Luke suffered a burst fracture to his T12 while riding a dirt bike on the farm. This resulted in an incomplete spinal cord injury. While the serious nature of this injury did not become fully realized until after about a week in the ICU Neuro Trauma unit of Shock Trauma Hosptial. We asked for prayers from everyone. God listened and the power of prayer was ever present. Luke left shock trauma after a week minus one rib and a new vertebra. The surgeon who operated on Luke for 12 hours said he should recover some motor function but it was to early to know how much Luke would be able to do. Luke was transported to University of Maryland Spine and Orthopedic Rehabilitation and his long road to recovery began. He has since, according to his attending professionals, shown miraculous improvement and is already walking with assistance. He is determined and dead set on working hard to get back on his feet and walk again. His rehab process will take at least a year with him being discharged at the end of March to come home to his family while continuing his rehabilitation as an outpatient. We have come to realize while Luke's progress is a testament to his determination and Gods presence in his life, there will be financial hardships facing Luke. Unable to work during this long road to recovery, we have decided to create this go fund me page for those who wish to help Luke get back on his feet and with his medical bills. Please do not feel obligated. We are still asking you to pray for as complete of a recovery as possible.
