Help Lucy Bolton Help Others Again

I know Lucy Bolton to be an accomplished massage therapist who improved my life when she gave treatment and healed my injury. 
Last month, when contacting her, in the hopes of receiving another treatment for my needs, she told me how sick she has become from her own illness, but only after listening to my needs and offering therapy  suggestions.
Lucy B. is a licensed massage therapist who had been practicing since 2003, at Wellness Plus and also the Natural Health Center in Charleston prior to becoming ill.  You may be one of her past Clients like me, a Co-Worker, a Friend or Family Member, but I believe all who know Lucy find her to be a woman with a kind heart. 
Now, Lucy finds herself being the one needing treatment, sick with an illness that has affected her endocrine system, the source of her energy levels.  Donations made will be used to pay for her medical treatments and the bare necessities, so she can continue her doctor's visits and buy her medicines, since she has no health insurance. Her Doctor has told her to expect slow but gradual improvement over a 3 month period.
Lucy's goals are simple -  to get well again! She is asking for funds in the hopes of regaining her energy and health again so she can begin again to take a short walk, dance to a song and join in life's  simple pleasures!

In Lucy's own words:

My experience of this illness is extreme exhaustion, (I can stand for only a few minutes at a time), weakness, depression, insomnia, rapid loss of weight and muscle mass, hair loss, and a very foggy head.  I have recently become sensitive to foods that were part of my regular healthy diet.

I have been humbled by this whole experience. I have to remember to always come back to my breath, prayer and gratitude....otherwise, I go down a very deep hole of despair.

I am undergoing many tests, (blood work, MRI's, ultrasounds), at my Doctor's orders.  They will be looking for abnormalities in adrenals, pituitary and thyroid.  A treatment plan is still in the works.  In the meantime, lots of rest and a healthy diet is what I lean on to get me through.

My goal is quite simple.  I want to get strong and healthy so that I can participate fully in life again.  I miss being active with work, exercise and the social relationships that were a part of my life.

I am acutely aware that there are many people suffering and struggling through their own difficult situations, and that the gift of prayer and well-wishes will be all that they can offer. I am grateful for all acts of kindness given to me.

I have been unable to work for two months. All funds received will go directly toward the very basic necessities for day-to-day living and medical expenses.
