Time to ask for help for our fur baby BamBam.
Recently BamBam nearly died. It's been a long stressful process trying to diagnose him.
He has been in several overnight emergency animal hospital’s fighting for his life. From one day seeming perfectly normal to suddenly reaching an inch of his life. Bambam was very lucky, the vets responded quickly towards the treatments he needed. He ended up having an emergency canine blood plasma transfusion & this is what kept him alive.
Throughout the stressful treatments, Bambam dropped roughly 2kgs which was upsetting to see him like that.
We had to get X-rays, blood tests, Fecal Tests & Ultrasounds.
Bambam has finally been diagnosed with the very rare & hard to diagnose disease called Addison's Disease. The symptoms are: He will shake for a long period of time when he is very nervous or scared, Weight loss, Low blood pressure & even fainting.
Unfortunately my insurance I have for Bambam deemed it a underlying pre existing condition.
On a positive, he stayed strong and fought for his life and is now much healthier in weight and enjoying life again.
He is now on medication for life, which involves having to take 5 florinef tablets per day & regular vet visits. This is keeping the Addison’s under control with minimal side effects.
Now for the re-payments, payments are due for the vet bills. We’ve had lovely & understanding service from the vets, but they are needing to be paid ASAP.
The total bill is: $6,750. Unexpected as you can imagine.
I have started to attempt paying the bill of course which goes towards his medication & on going vet bills. It’s hard, so any help would help lift the pressure off my shoulders and any donation will be appreciated.
This is the first time I’ve done a Go Fund me page, but I have always believed in donating & giving back. I hope the world understands and gets behind this fundraiser.
Thank You
