Help Lexie go to the Mayo Clinic

Lexie was accepted into the Mayo Clinic Pediatric Pain Program. This is a 3 week program in Rochester, MN. Our insurance will cover most of the medical costs, but it doesn't cover hotel, food, or travel expenses. This is an outpatient program, so we need to stay in a hotel for the 3 weeks. Lexie's admission date is November 25th, so there isn't much time to prepare.  Please help Lexie be able to attend this life changing program.      I know we haven't shared all of Lexie's medical issues with everyone, but she has been  becoming increasingly sick since April. It all started with influenza. Then she started repeatedly passing out. She had several ER visits and an inpatient stay. The doctors couldn't really figure out what was causing these episodes. In May she started have pain when eating and drinking. By August, she was unable to eat or drink without extreme pain. By September, she started vomiting what little she did eat. After 2 weeks inpatient, Lexie was released with an NJ tube and a  diagnosis of gastritis and gastroperesis.      Lexie has been at home on continuous feeds through her NJ tube. She can take small amounts of clear liquids only by mouth. The doctors didn't have any suggestions for relief other than attending the Mayo clinic program. We had been working towards getting her into the program since September.      Last week, we finally found out what has been causing all of her problems. Lexie was diagnosed with Ehler's Danlos Syndrome Hypermobility type and P O.T.S. in addition to the gastroperesis. Lexie has had joint pain and dislocations for years. We now finally have a diagnosis, but again no treatment other than PT and the pain program.      We were ecstatic when we got an admission date of November 25th. Unfortunately, the program is outpatient, so we're required to stay in a hotel for 3 weeks. Doing this program during the holidays is going to be very difficult, but we are praying for a Christmas miracle.      Please consider donating if you can.  Any amount will help. During our intake appointment last week, we were notified that pain program families were not permitted to stay at the Ronald McDonald House. I have investigated all of the charitable housing around the Mayo Clinic and could not find anything available to us during the weeks we will be there.
