Because of our PTSD, working on anything other than music is nearly impossible without severe health issues. In the past week we have been harassed and threatened by an individual we moved into our home under the guise of needing help. In a short amount of time this individual has costed us mass amounts of money in both business and driving do to the consistent abuse of our empathy and home. We made the mistake of trusting too early and instead of taking all the abuse and moving on we decided this time to capture the process on youtube to show everything as it was happening. We are a hard working team and we run a studio that helps us afford our livelihood. This individual decided to avoid paying rent, avoid helping and instead abuse and manipulate our lives and home to be able to obtain what she wanted. When we were told to seek legal help, we ended up having to pay $2000+ out of pocket just to have safety SOMEWHAT promised to us. We are still currently stuck in an unpredictable situation and have a performance we're somehow supposed to do on the 18th.
One of my followers so graciously recommended I share this and tat I have more people willing and wanting to help me than I realize. I feel very happy and confident in knowing that I do not need to normalize the abuse that has happened and I shouldn't feel like anything is okay about this. We do not deserve to live in these conditions nor pay money for the abuse to end. This has been horrific. Abusive people tend to get others to believe that their mental illness is making them this way, so they justify the abuse done as a way to hook the victims into thinking the individual can change. This keeps victims in a cycle of abuse. I REFUSE to allow this to continue.
