Help Kona get his kick back please

Hi, my name is Kona Murphy. I am a 9 month old rescue pup. My family just explained to me that I have a serious medical condition called bilateral hip dysplasia, it's pretty painful but my family has been able to help me with pain medications. This would explain why i walk and sit a little goofy. I've had several veterinary appointments in the last week and I'm going to need to have surgery fairly quickly to ease my pain. My doctors said I need to have a double Femoral Head Osteotomy (FHO) surgery on my hips. Unfortunately, this is a genetic disease that I was born with. My family is going to do everything they possibly can to do make me better. It’s going to be a difficult road over the next 6 months, I'll have to spend three days in the hospital and I'm going to miss my family so much..but it's necessary for my full recovery. I can't wait to get better and be able to walk again without any pain and play with my sister Blossom in our yard. I love running around playing with her but I just can't do that anymore until I'm better. My family told me not to worry about anything because they love me so much that they will do whatever necessary to get me strong and back to a healthy puppy. My rehabilitation and recovery is not going to be easy, my family will have to help me walk and exercise with a sling around my body until I can walk on my own again.
