As most of you know Kelly had a severe stroke in early October. He was in the hospital for 2 weeks and is now living with his parents in Old Hickory. His recovery is somewhat slow and he still isn't able to communicate well or live on his own. He's doing speech therapy but has a long way to go.
The hospital bills are starting to roll in and that combined with the cost of biweekly therapy is overwhelming. He also still has a house mortgage and bills associated with maintenance. Hopefully he will be able to go home by the end of the year.
We're hoping that some his hiking group, friends and co-workers will be able to contribute to his care and expenses.
He still isn't wanting visitors but we'll put the word out once this changes
