Toilets Needed in Ghanaian School

The children of Becky’s Home Orphanage and over 300 other children from Senya-Beraku, Ghana are attending school at Jane’s Happy Home.
Currently, there is no toilet available for the children to use while they are at school. The children are forced to relieve themselves in the bushes at the side of the school. This is unsanitary for the children, the school, and the nearby houses. It also makes it a great risk for the children to contract diseases when they do not have proper toilets to use.
By the end of November 2017, the Ghana Government will be coming to inspect the school and if toilets for the children are not available they can shut down the school. The toilets are in the process of being built but they have come to a stop as they need $850 USD to finish.
The kids love to learn and if these toilets are not fully intalled by the end of November, that will be taken away from them.
The children are extremely grateful for things we often take for granted such as shoes, pencils, and candy. Their spirit and energy can make anyone smile even on the worst days.
The completion of these toilets would greatly improve their school experience and their sanitation.
If we are able to raise more than the $850 required for the toilets, the money will be given to Seth, the owner of Becky's Home Orphange, to use for the children.
