Help Kate with her dad's memorial

Hi everyone! Throughout middle school and high school, my daughter Elizabeth had one very best friend, Kate Langley.  Kate has been the kind of friend parents hope their child finds -- smart, kind and funny but also a mature, deliberate student who has a plan for the future and takes school seriously.  A great influence on my daughter and loved by our whole family!  Kate is the only child of divorced parents who did an outstanding job co-parenting and helping her become the great person she is today.  Kate smiled and giggled all the way through middle school and high school while performing at the highest level academically.  I lived for that giggle!  So . . . a few days ago Kate lost her Dad Michael, who suffered a heart attack.   As EVERYONE who knew him will attest, Michael was THE most doting father you could imagine. He loved Kate fiercely and took such joy in her many successes.  As hard as it was to see her go, Michael couldn't have been more proud seeing Kate start her college career at Rhodes College in Memphis.   Michael worked very hard and honorably, but like many hard working folks these days he didn't have loads of money and did not have life insurance.  He truly gave his all for Kate and nothing was more important to Michael than her well-being and future.  And this is where, hopefully, you come in . . . If you are able and so inclined, please make a donation to help cover the expenses Kate and her Mom will incur dealing with Michael's passing.  Everything -- obituary, cremation, Kate's flights home and back to college, memorial service, probate lawyer, and on and on -- costs money.  Kate and her Mom are the sweetest people you could ever be fortunate enough to meet, and they need our help. Kate just started college and already had plenty of challenges to contend with before having to deal with the sudden loss of her Dad.  Together we can  make a really tough time a little easier for Kate and her Mom.  Please consider donating and please share this message.  Michael had so many friends . . . hopefully this message will reach them.
