Help Josie Pay for Surgery
Donation protected
Hi folks! On Wednesday, April 26th, I'm getting surgery that has the potential to substantially improve my life. While Insurance will cover some of it, I'll still be left having to pay around $3000 in fees. I'm already struggling financially, and am stuck between living with chronic pain and making ends meet.
This surgery will have numerous benefits, including:
-reduction of chronic pain I've lived with since 2001 from two separate conditions that have increasingly limited my mobility, making it hard to walk or sit upright, not to mention excercise.
-elimination of a hormone issue (uh, testoserone production), ennabling me to stop taking a testoserone blocker that has multiple side effects (frequent urination, dizzyness, dehydration, headache, nauseua, and digestive/elimination problems are just some of them).
-help me feel more at home in my body
While it's very hard and humbling to ask for money, I don't see another way. Please help me pay for this procedure that will substantively improve my life. I've been living with chronic pain for so long, and it's gotten so bad in the past few years. I look forward to having relief from at least some of the sources of it, be able to stop taking blockers, and help me feel more at home in my body.
Thanks for any help you can give!
