Everyone that knows Josh Brown knows him as a man that will drop anything to help someone in need. He has been an unbelievably positive influence to youth sports in Bellefonte, and he truly cares deeply for every kid he's ever come across. He served as the President of Bellefonte Little League for two years and gave countless hours to help it succeed. I have known him for a few years and along with his ability to make me laugh at the drop of a hat, he also is able to help those around him stay positive and enjoy life. In short, he is one of my favorite people, and a tremendous asset to our community.
Josh got some tough news a couple weeks ago....
He was diagnosed with Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma....Mouth Cancer.
He must have surgery in late July, and will undergo some very significant post operative treatment including radiation, chemotherapy, and reconstructive surgery. All of this is going to absolutely wipe him out. The trouble with cancer is that it doesn't simply affect the patient, it affects his family as well. Josh will be out of commission for quite some time, but the bills will keep coming.
I am asking all of you to help this man and his family, in part because it's the right thing to do, but also because there is ZERO DOUBT he would help you. Cancer is a disease no one can fight alone. It takes the help of family, friends, and strangers.
