Help me buy a laptop for college

Hello,
My name is John Newton
I just recently graduated from Ottawa Hills high school Class of 2018.
It's gonna be my first year at college soon; I am attending Kendall College of Art and Design, i got a huge portfolio scholarship to attend this school.
So far i have no way of purchasing the recommended  laptop for the type of art that i'm gonna be doing  in my Major: Digital Art and Design

In my 12th grade year of High school i won a Silver Key and 3 honorable mentions in the scholastic Art Awards
And was given the title of the best Artist in high school I am in need of a laptop to do art in class, on the go etc.

I'm going to college to improve on my overall art skills as an artist and this laptop could really help with that.
The benefits of getting this laptop would be: no lag while animating, No stuttering or freezing when opening and trying to work on files too big
All these benefits could also help me with my commission work( if you don't know what a commission is, it is basically doing drawings for others for money).
In the future i really want to become a major comic book creator or animator. This laptop would really bring that much sooner than later. Traveling and seeing my creations on TV and the big screen or even in someones hand is the end goal.
This laptop affects my future. But just me alone isn't enough to afford it. That is where you come in, it would be extremely helpful if you could help me reach my goal by time i start college in the fall. So i can start college ready with all  the supplies i need.
