Update #1 10/26/16, 9:35am: Wow wow wow!!! In less than 24 hours, we hit our goal for Joe! My heart is SO full, I am incredibly happy that our community came together in such a big way to support an incredible person! GoFundMe does not "shut down" the donation process once the goal is reached, so if you still want to donate, feel free! (There was mention of "getting him out of that truck!")
You know how 2016 has been so shitty? Our favorite vertically challenged photographer has had the worst of it. He was unexpectedly laid off earlier this year, experienced some severe health issues that left him hospitalized, and his truck has broken down... over and over again. Today, (10/25/16) his truck broke down AGAIN, while he was on the way to his first day of work at a new contract job. He has unfortunately been unemployed for some time, so this has come as a big financial stressor.
He's a tough gnome, and has been doing a great job supporting all of his friends, without asking for much in the way of help. Now, it's time for us to step up and help him.
How many times has Photognome made you smile? Stopped to give you the best bearhug you've ever received? Taken an AMAZING picture of you, or someone you love? He gives his love and support to all of us freely, without any expectations. I would love for us all to come together in his time of need and show him how much we LOVE him!
